Heng & Mid -Air Temple
Mt Heng is located in Shanxi and has a height of 2,000 meters
above sea level. There are many ancient structures in the
mountain. The Mid-Air Temple was built 1,400 years ago and hosts
warship for Taoist, Confucians and Buddhist. Temple was hang on
middle of cliff and is still in perfect conditions after so many
years. |

Huashan
Mt. Huashan, one of the five sacred mountains in China, is
located in Shanxi and has a height of 2,153 meters above sea
level. Difficult to access to the peaks through the narrow paths
of 1 meter in width. There are four peaks and the slope is very
steep. It was a place where Taoists studied Taoism and Gongfu. |

Huangshan
Located at Anhui, Mt. Huangshan was declared as World Nature
and Culture Heritage by Unesco in 1990. It has a height over
1,800 meters and covers an area of 1,200 sq. km. It is a natural
botanical garden with over 3,000 kinds of plants. Visitors
wonder thorough the changing clouds and enjoy its natural beauty
of the surrounding scenery. |

Shongshan
Located in Henan, Mt. Shongshan has a height over 1,500
meters above sea level. The most famous Shaolin Monastery is
located here, where Shaolin monks exercise Qigong, Qingong and
other Shaolin Gongfu. There are some other temples in the
mountain. One of the most famous ancient academies, Shaoyang
Academy, is also located here. |

Taishan
Located in Shandong, Mt. Taishan is one of the most important
mountains to Emperors, where they paid homage to Heaven and
Earth. There are over twenty historical sites and thousands of
ancient remains in the area. Combining with the natural scenery
and the historical importance, Mt. Taishan has been recorded in
UN catalog of Heritages. |
