Provincial capital, over 6.5 million of people, in memory of Nanjing Treaties with British and unforgettable Nanjing massacres by Japanese.

Places of interests: Taiping Museum, Fuzimiao, Memorial of Nanjing Massacre, Tomb of Hong Wu, Sun Yatsen Mausoleum, Zijinshan, Xuanwu Park.

One of five municipal cities directly under central government, over 12 million people. The International Settlement for major powers between 1880-1945. A business center in China. Climate is good for visit.

Places of interests: French town, Jade Buddha Temple, Tomb of Lu Xun, Pudong.

The capital in ancient China for 2,000 years, over 2.5 million peoples. Cold in winter. Better visit in Autumn.
