Qingdao, a city of the past in European style
| Qingdao. a city of red-tiled
roofs, European-style buildings, and gardens, is a replica of a Bavarian
village developed by the Germans in the late 1800's. The city's brewery
was built in 1903 too. The city retains the mark of the history how
foreign power forced China to open up
concession port in the past. Qingdao today is a beautiful resort
city at the end of peninsular. It is not only a resort area and also the
city where the world famous Tsingtao Beer is produced.
The city lies just east of the main harbor. Fine white sandy beaches,
a waterfront promontory, and some of China's most beautiful parks are
among its main attractions |
